You will definitely need to know how to get from island to island, which airlines fly between those islands and what are the destination routes.

To make it easier for you we have compiled a list of airlines roaming the Caribbean skies including their destinations. Air Antilles

Air Antilles Air Antilles is based in Guadeloupe and flies to several Caribbean destinations including San Juan, Puerto Rico and the Nature island of Dominica. Their website is in both English and French. Like most airlines in the Caribbean they also use ATR airplanes.

Destinations:
Barbados, Dominica, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, St Barthelemy, St. Maarten, St Lucia.

Air Caraibes
Air Caraibes is another airline that flies mainly between the French speaking Caribbean. If you visit their website, then you should know a little French or if you are like me you can probably figure it out. Air Caraibes has its headquarters in Guadeloupe with another hub in Le Lamentin Airport in Martinique.

Destinations:
Cuba, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Martinique, Dominican Republic, St Barthelemy, St Martin and St Lucia.

Also flies from Paris Orly Sud to Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, St Martin, Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Cape Air

Bahamas and US Virgin Islands are among the islands that Cape Air services. The airline has its Caribbean hub at the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Its North Seaplane Base is located in Bimini, The Bahamas. The carrier has been providing inter-island service to the Caribbean for nineteen years.

Destinations:
Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Caribbean Airlines

Caribbean Airlines is headquartered in Piarco Trinidad and Tobago and is one of the larger airlines operating in the region. It also has operations in Jamaica. The airline flies to Caribbean destinations including Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados and Grenada.

Destinations:
Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Cayman Islands (NEW), Cuba, Curacao (NEW), Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St Lucia, Saint Maarten and St Vincent. Domestic flights to Tobago.

Cayman Airways


If you are in the Cayman Islands and you want to travel to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, the other islands that make up the Caymans then Cayman Airways is your airline. The airline also flies to a couple Caribbean Islands including Jamaica.

Jamaica, Cuba and Roatan - Honduras. Domestic flights to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. Also international flights from Grand Cayman to Miami, Tampa and New York.

Formerly Air Turks & Caicos the airline started as InterIsland Airways Charter Services in 1991 and is based in the Turks & Caicos Islands. The carrier serves travelers mostly in the Western Caribbean and some of those destinations include the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

Destinations:
Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St Lucia, St Maarten. Also, domestic flights to Grand Turk and South Caicos.
