ARMAÇÃO DE BÚZIOS Brazil

Armação De Búzios is known for its upmarket tourism. Called Buzios for short, it is just about three hours drive from Rio and is a hotspot for both local and Argentinian tourist.

 

According to local history, Buzios was a small fishing village until it was visited by French film star Brigitte Bardot around 1964, and when she proclaimed her love for the village that is when it started to blossom, and eventually turned into the popular destination it is today.

 

One of the main attractions of Buzios is its beaches. There are over 23 beaches with the East Coast beaches offering adventure for surfers and water sports enthusiast, while the waters of the West Coast beaches are clear, calm and more suitable for relaxing and bathing.

 

Some of the beaches you should visit are Ferradura, Armacao, Joao Fernandes and Azeda. Geriba is ideal for water sports enthusiast and surfers.
