Bodo is a city located on a peninsula on a beautiful stretch of coastline in Northern Norway, and is about a 90-minute flight from the capital Oslo.
Saltstraumen, the world's strongest maelstrom, and the historic trading post of Kjerringøy are two of the many attractions in the Bodo region.
Other attractions in Bodo include the villages of Væran, Misvær and Skjerstad. Also the northern lights can be seen on dark, clear evenings from September to April.
