Lulworth Cove Dorset England

Lulworth Cove is an amazing natural wonder, located close to the village of West Lulworth, on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in Dorset, southern England. The cove is considered the prime Dorset attraction for budding geographers or vacationers simply looking for a leisurely stroll along the Natural World Heritage Coastline.

According to Lulworth Online, "Lulworth Cove was formed approximately 10,000 years ago by the awesome powers of a river and the sea. It continues to evolve behind a narrow Portland stone entrance as the softer Purbeck, Wealdon, Greensand and Chalk exposures are eroded."

The West Lulworth Heritage Centre, located in Lulworth Cove acts as a museum providing information about Lulworth and its coast and the history of the village. You can also purchase souvenirs of Lulworth there as well.
