The Caribbean is blessed with so many beautiful countries. Each, however, has its own unique characteristics. St George's, Grenada is one of those beautiful capital cities blessed with its own breathtaking scenery and landscapes.

Grenada is referred to as the "Spice Island," mainly because it is a major producer of nutmeg and other spices like mace and cinnamon.


Carriacou and Petite Martinique are the other two islands that make up the Grenada and the Grenadines chain.

Some of the popular things to do in Grenada include visiting, Grand Etang Lake, which is an 1,800 feet above sea level crater lakes on the island; Grand Anse Beach, which features stunning white sand shores and turquoise water and is perhaps the most popular beach in Grenada; Belmont Estate, which is a history museum, restaurant and a chocolate shop. It is located in St Patrick and is a 17th century working plantation; and Laura's Herb & Spice Garden, which features numerous samples of trees, herbs and spices grown on the island.

Other places of interest are Concord, Mount Carmel, Victoria and Seven Sisters waterfalls. Fort Frederick, Fort George, Fort Matthew, River Antoine Rum Distillery and the Grenada National Museum are some of the historic sites you can check out.
