Traditionally Boxing Day is a big shopping day for Brits. This year, according to British daily newspapers, is set to be one of the biggest years ever. According to the Independent newspapers, Boxing Day sales for 2017 is set to break records with Brits spending over £4.5 billion.
The newspapers further added that British shoppers, "Lured by price cuts of up to 90 per cent, some 23 million people will visit stores today (Boxing Day, December 26th) many of whom were expected to queue for sales in miserable wet weather from midnight."
